Itinerary

Day 01: Delhi Shimla

We greet you on arrival at the Delhi Airport /Railway station and taken you to Shimla tour, about 345 Kms away by road. Enjoy the Seven-hour ride through the picturesque mountainous terrains of Indian states. On the way, you may be delighted with the scenic beauty of hill stations; green forests, small water falls, lakes, caves, and small stream that will create lasting impressions in your mind. On arrival at Shimla, you would check in to hotel and take rest.

Day 02: Shimla

In the morning, after break fast we take you for sightseeing. Major places at Shimla are: summer hill palace, Prospect Hill, Sankat Mochan, Hanuman temple, Chharabra, Chadwick fall, Jakhoo Hills, Jakhu hanuman temple, Kufri, the Georgian House of Raj Kumari Amrit Kaur, The Ridge, Christ Church, St.Michael's Cathedral, over night stay at Shimla hotel.

Day 03: Shimla- Manali

In the morning, after breakfast check out from the Hotel and you proceed to visit Manali. Manali is spread along the banks of the river Beas, You would check in at Manali Hotel. In the after noon you can visit Hadimba Temple, Manu Temple, Vashisht, Temple & Tibetan Monasteries etc… Over night stay at the hotel.

Day 04: - Manali

In the morning, after breakfast you would proceed for local sightseeing. Major places are:Gulaba Camp, Jagatsukh , the old temple of Lord Shiva and Sandhya Gayatri, Arjun Gufa (Cave) ,Naggar Castle, Nehru Kundms, Tibetan Market and Mall, Western Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. Over night stay at Manali hotel.

Day 05: - Manali

In the morning, after breakfast you would proceed for Rahalla water Falls, Rothang pass, Zojila pass is a gateway to Ladakh, Kothi and Beas Kund , Bottom of Rohtang Pass Kothi offers good ceramic beauty with striking view of villages and thrilling view of Beas river. Over night stay at Manali hotel.

Day 06: - Manali -Dharamshala

In the morning, after breakfast check out from the Hotel and you would proceed to Dharamshala (240km/6hrs). On arrival check-in the hotel at Dharamshala. Dharamshala is the main hill station in the Kangra Valley. Picturesque Dharamshala, built in to two main part which is Lower Dharamshala (1380m) and Upper Dharamshala (1830m) with the border of Mcleodganj and Forsytheganj, Overnight Stay at Dharamshala.

Day 07: - Dharamshala

Morning, after breakfast go for the sightseeing of Mcleodganj H. H., is known as resides of The Dalai Lama. The Mcleodganj bazaar has much variety of Tibetan handicrafts and artifacts. Dharamshala has many Namgyal Monasteries and temples like Jwalamukhi, Brijeshwari and Chamunda, St. John's Church, Kunal Pathari, Bhagsunag Fall, Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 08: Dharamshala – Dalhousie

Morning after breakfast,You would check out from Dharamshala hotel and proceed to Dalhousie (131km/4hrs), On arrival check-in the hotel at Dalhousie. Dalhousie (2032 m) is a hill station and it covered with five hills- (Kathlog, Potreys, Tehra, Bakrota and Balun). One can see the town's varying altitude, shades, variety of plants that includes royally grooves of pines, deodars, oaks and flowering rhododendrons. The town conserves some beautiful churches like St. John church, St. Francis, St. Andrew and St. Patrick, Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 09: Dalhousie

On the 9th day you would visiting the places like Khajjiar, Kalatop, Subash Baoli- This place is famous with our great hero, the founder of Indian National Army (INA),Netaji Subash Chandra Boss, Satdhara, Panjpulla, Bakrota hills and Bakrota Mall. Khajjiar:- Known as India's "Switzerland". Subhash Baoli , Kalatop & forest Bunglow , Panjpulla , Satdhara ,Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 10: Dalhousie –Chandigarh

In the morning, after breakfast check out from the Hotel and you would proceed to Chandigarh about 364 Km away. On arrival Chandigarh, you would check in to the hotel. Chandigarh, the beautiful capital of Punjab and Haryana, is on the edge of the Sivalik Hills, the outermost edge of the Himalayas.In the evening, you would visit the famous Pinjore gardens or Sukhna Lake & the Rock Garden and you would return to the hotel, Overnight Stay at Chandigarh Hotel.

Day 11: Chandigarh-Delhi- Departure

Morning after breakfast you check out from the hotel to proceed to (274kms) Delhi airport/ railway station. End Manali tour

Places For interest

Summer hill palaceThe Shimla tour offer the best places are summer hill palace (2103 (m), about 6 km drive. The place situated in huddles of green hills, "which covered with trees like pine, oak, cedar". The ancient Georgian House located here.

Prospect Hill :(2176 (m), The hill is a popular picnic place and get magnificent views over the surrounding regions like Sankat Mochan, (7km from Shimla). It has a Hanuman temple.

Chadwick fall: (1586 (m), it was a most desired destination in Shimla and surrounded with dense forest from all sides. It looks like dazzles in a way as if someone has sprinkled crystals all around. The best time to visit the Chadwick falls in September.

Jakhoo Hills: The hill is the highest peak around Shimla and Jakhu hanuman temple situated on the top of Hill. The Jakhoo hill is also famous for its trekking options.

The Ridge: The Ridge located in the heart of Shimla it presents admirable views of the mountain range.The neolithic structure of Christ Church, the neo-Tudor library building, lakkar Bazaar, Scandal point etc.., connected through the Ridge.

Christ Church: Built in 1846-1857, it is one of the most popular churches of Shimla and the second oldest church in North India. The church designed by Colonel JT Boileau in 1844; but it consecrated only after 1857.

St. Michael's Cathedral: Another church in Shimla that is a Roman Catholic Cathedral.

Summer hill palace: (2,103 m), about 6 km, the place situated in huddles of green hills which are covered with trees like pine, oak, cedar, deodar etc... The age old Georgian House of Raj Kumari Amrit Kaur is located here.

Prospect Hill: (2,176 m) is about 5km west of Shimla and a 15-minute climb from Boileauganj. The hill is a popular picnic spot with fine views over the surrounding countres.

Sankat Mochan: 7km from Shimla, has a Hanuman temple, and offers fine views of Shimla.

Chharabra: (Wildflower Hall) (2514 m) is 13km trek from Shimla. The place is situated on top of mountains which are a major watershed. One side of Chharabra is part of the catchments area for the Yamuna River while the other side is part of the catchments area for the Satluj River.

Chadwick fall: (1586 m/7kms), is a most desired destination in Shimla. The fall is surrounded with thick forest from all sides and looks amazing in the midst of hills and trees like pine, oak and deodar.

Jakhoo Hills: (2.5kms/2460 Mts) it is the highest peak around Shimla, and Jakhu hanuman temple is situated on the top of Jakhu Hill .It is also famous for its trekking options. It offers excellent views of both sunrise/sunset.

Kufri (2622m):(16 km / 30 Minutes drive from Shimla). The place surrounded by thick forest, snow caped mountains and small stream. One can absolutely relax and tune oneself to nature's beauty. Kufri is the winter sports capital for skiing, and it has beautiful picnic spots with a striking view of hills around.

The Ridge: The Ridge is located in the heart of Shimla; it presents admirable views of the mountain ranges. The neo-Gothic structure of Christ Church, the neo-Tudor library building, lakkar Bazaar and Scandal point are connected through the Ridge.

Christ Church: built in 1846-1857, is one of the most popular churches of Shimla and the second oldest church in North India. The clock which adorns Christ Church was donated by Colonel Dumbleton in the year 1860.

Manali :(280kms/5hrs) away from Shimla, 2050 meters above sea level and is spread along the banks of the river Beas, You would check in at Manali Hotel.

Hadimba Temple: (2.5km), Manu Temple 3 kms, Vashisht- (3 kms) & Tibetan Monasteries etc…

Gulaba Camp: (20 km) one can enjoy the picturesque place.

Jagatsukh: (6 kms). One can visit the old temples of Lord Shiva and Sandhya Gayatri in Shikhara style located on the left bank of Beas on the road to Naggar.

Arjun gufa (Cave): 4kms towards Naggar. You can enjoy picturesque view of the upper Kullu valley, the place had one old legend that Arjun had meditated at this place.

Naggar Castle: it gives an enchanting view of the old capital of Kullu.

Nehru kund: 5 kms. On National Highway to Leh,The natural spring originating from Bhrigu lake which is located high-up mountain.

Tibetan Market and Mall: One can purchase handicrafts and other goods in the Mall.

Western Himalayan Mountaineering Institute—3 kms away.

Rahalla water Falls: (2501m) (16 km from Manali), The falls is a superb visual treat that would mesmerizing the visitors with its springing perks all around.

Rothang Pass: (3979 m) (51 kms).On the highway to Keylong/Leh. Through out the journey it offers a panoramic view of Mountains. It is a gateway to Lahaul Spiti, Pangi and Leh valley just like Zojila pass is a gateway to Ladakh.During summer (mid June to October).this pass is open for tourists. The rest of the year the traffic flow is broken up due to the heavy snow fall.

Kothi and Beas Kund: (12km) Bottom of Rohtang Pass Kothi offers good ceramic beauty with striking view of villages and thrilling view of Beas river.

Dharamshala: Dharamshala is well known place in India and famous in the world, because the HH. Dalai Lama and his other spiritual leaders of Buddhism lives here Dharamshala is the main hill station in the Kangra Valley, it is a fertile, rising and falling valley.

Kangra valley is lying between the gentle Shivalik Hills and the foothills of the Dhauladhars – the White Mountains. The Dharamshala covered with wooded hills, tea gardens and sparkling streams. Picturesque Dharamshala, built in to two main part which is Lower Dharamshala (1380m) and Upper Dharamshala (1830m) with the border of Mcleodganj and Forsytheganj. Still it retains British period and colonial lifestyle. Dharamshala has risen to international fame as "The Little Lhasa in India". Mcleodganj is 9km from Dharamshala.

Mcleodganj: H. H. is known as resides of The Dalai Lama. The Mcleodganj bazaar has much variety of Tibetan handicrafts and artifacts.

Temples: Dharamshala has many Namgyal Monasteries and temples like Jwalamukhi, Brijeshwari and Chamunda. The external wall is surrounded by rows of prayer wheels. Within the monastery there are large idols of Buddha.

St. John's Church: the church lies in the forest between Mcleod Ganj and Forsyth Ganj. This is dedicated to Lord Elgin, a British Viceroy of India during the 19th century.

Water Falls:One of the main water falls in the mcleodgang is Bhagsunag Fall: Known for its old temple, Kunal Pathari. A level walk from Kotwali Bazaar leads up to the rock temple.

The major attractive places are Khajjiar, Kalatop, Subash Baoli, Satdhara, Panjpulla, Bakrota hills and Bakrota Mall.

Churches: The town conserves some beautiful churches like St. John church (1863), St. Francis (1894), St. Andrew (1903) and St. Patric (1909).

Khajjiar: All the above places are related with great history or events. Khajjiar:- Known as India's "Switzerland". Its Grassy Meadow resembles to Switzerland. It is around 22km from Dalhousie. The whole area is surrounded by thick deodar forests, small lake, streams and green carpet mountain. There is beautiful floating island in the centre. All together it gives a marvelous look and one should feel that we are in Switzerland.

Subhash Baoli: Subash Baoli is 1.6 Km away from city of Dharmasala. This place is famous with our great hero, the founder of Indian National Army (INA),Netaji Subash Chandra Boss. During 1937 Subash Chandra Boss spends lot of time here. Mark of respect to the Subash Chandra Boss this beautiful area re-named as Subash Baoli.

Kalatop: 2,440 m). Kalatop is a wild life sanctuary. Kalatop is ideal for trekking. Top of the Kalatop there is nice forest Bunglow which takes back to Colonial style of British Raj . Animals like Black Bear, Barking Deer, leopards and plenty species of Birds are there. Panjpulla (2 km) from GPO square and a very good picnic spot.

In Panjpula: water flows from a natural tank under five little bridges. So the name this place is known as Panjpulla.

Satdhara: There is seven springs in Satdhara and it is having the medicinal property due the presence of Mica and other minerals.

Chandigarh: Chandigarh is covered with the picturesque mountainous, hill stations, small water falls, lakes and small stream etc... Chandigarh, the beautiful capital of Punjab and Haryana, is on the edge of the Sivalik Hills, the outermost edge of the Himalayas. The famous attraction in Chandigarh is Pinjore gardens, Sukhna Lake & the Rock Garden.
